Lesson 5: Major Pentatonic Scale Patterns
Pentatonic scales are extremely versatile, melodic scales. The Major Pentatonic scale is simply the 1st - 2nd - 3rd - 5th & 6th notes of a major scale.
In this lesson I've shown the C major pentatonic scales. Memorize these patterns. Also locate the tonic notes in each form (tonic: the note for which the scale is named, in this case C).
