Flash Cards II: Rhythm Values

This Flash Card program is like the last one you used to help you study the names of the notes, except this time you have to identify the rhythm value shown on the flash card; quarter note, half rest, eighth note, etc...

Ok, on to the flash cards!

How the Program Works

Begin the Flash Card program by clicking the "Start the Flash Cards" button.

A flash card will appear displaying a musical a note. Below the card will be options of what the rhythm value could be. Click on the option you think the card is showing.

If you're correct, you can move on to the next card.

If you're incorrect, you can go back and try again, or move on to the next card.

It's important to try and recognize the rhythms as quickly as you can, so use this program as often as you can so that when you're finished, you can quickly, and easily recognize all the rhythm values.

If at any time you want to exit the flash card program, press the "Close" button.

Ok, that's it. Let's begin the Flash Cards!

When you've finished with the Flash Cards program, go ahead...
